One remote brings together flame, fan, lighting, pilot and thermostat settings on equipped premium gas models. Comfort Control™ changes the fire’s heat output by switching a burner off while retaining a flame.
Detailed logs and layered flames create a wood-fire character. The burner generation depends on the model; Fireplace Xtrordinair’s Ember-Fyre II adds a stadium-style arrangement.
Adjustable under-lighting illuminates glass and ember material beneath the fire. On equipped models, the GreenSmart remote controls the ember-bed glow.
Standard features and options vary by model. Gas appliances are rated individually for input, turndown and efficiency. Covered outdoor installations require the exact model’s approval; see-through units are not an indoor/outdoor pass-through.
02 / Wood technology

Burning wood releases heat, gases and smoke.
Preheated air helps burn the released gases.
A combustor above the baffle burns remaining gases and smoke.
NexGen-Hybrid combines secondary combustion with a catalytic stage. Check your exact appliance’s tested emissions, efficiency and burn-time figures.
03 / Easier starts
The optional GreenStart™ igniter helps start or revive a wood fire with the door closed.
Lopi lists GreenStart for its wood stoves and inserts except the Answer and Evergreen inserts. Confirm compatibility with your appliance and generation.

A catalyst supports continued combustion of gases. Fireplace Xtrordinair identifies catalytic technology across its wood fireplace models.
NexGen-Fyre™, Hybrid-Fyre™ and NexGen-Hybrid™ identify different systems. Your model name and manual identify the combustion technology and available options for your appliance.
04 / Heat distribution
Elite wood fireplaces can draw outside air around the firebox, warm it and distribute it with a remote convection fan.
Apex wood fireplaces draw room air below the firebox and return warmed air through the convection chamber.
Lopi and Fireplace Xtrordinair describe cord-wood testing for their wood appliances, using split wood rather than a crib of dimensional lumber.
